My process

Over the course of late 2018 to 2019, I worked with the agency Listen to scale up their audio production capabilities

What I Did

First, I worked internally to figure out Listen’s internal capabilities and desired direction – educating on the industry generally and opportunities for them specifically.

Then, I worked closely on internal pitches to a pre-existing client, Microsoft, whose In Culture vertical Listen had developed – and where they were looking to expand into a podcast series.

This process also involved education for both clients, as well as scoping the range of opportunities for an audio brief.

Following the success of the pitch, I worked with Listen and Microsoft to develop a distribution strategy across both organic and paid channels for the Conversations In Culture podcast series.

Following the success of this series, podcasts have now become a central vertical for Listen.
